DAGM GCPR German Conference on Pattern Recognition

The DAGM German Conference on Pattern Recognition (DAGM GCPR) is the annual symposium of the German Association for Pattern Recognition (DAGM). The conference addresses recent advances in the fields of pattern recognition, computer vision, machine learning, and image processing, and it follows the long tradition of the DAGM Symposia.

The DAGM Symposia have been organized every year since 1978, bringing together a group of scientists who address the problems of pattern recognition. In 2013, the name was changed to DAGM German Conference for Pattern Recognition (DAGM GCPR).

Besides research, DAGM GCPR has a tradition to be a networking event of German speaking researchers, with typically over 200 participants, including many world-leading experts. The conference main program includes several keynote speakers as well as invited talks by leading researchers from academy and industry.

DAGM GCPR is also partnering with IJCV and thus selected papers can be submitted to a special issue of the International Journal of Computer Vision (IJCV) after the conference.

During the conference, DAGM is also handing out prestigious prizes ranging from the German Pattern Recognition Award, the DAGM MVTec Dissertation Award, the DAGM Best Master Thesis Award and DAGM GCPR Best Paper Awards.
