Call for Papers
Authors are invited to submit high-quality papers presenting original research. Submitted papers will be reviewed based on the criteria of originality, soundness, empirical evaluation, and presentation. In the long tradition of this conference series, the single track program and poster sessions will provide ample opportunity for open-minded discussions and interaction.
The scope of GCPR 2015 includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:
- Image/video processing, analysis, and computer vision
- Machine learning and pattern recognition
- Mathematical foundations, statistical data analysis and models
- Computational photography and confluence of vision and graphics
- Biomedical image processing and analysis
- Document analysis
- Biometrics
- Speech and signal processing
- Applications
The paper length is limited to 10 pages (plus references, which are expected to be at most 2 pages in usual cases). In addition, supplementary materials can be submitted. All manuscripts will be subject to a double-blind review process. The proceedings will be published in the Springer LNCS series. The best contributions will receive GCPR awards.

GCPR/VMV Nectar Track Session
To broaden the role of GCPR and VMV 2015 as a forum for discussing important research results, we offer an additional Nectar Track poster session for participants who do not present an accepted paper at GCPR or VMV 2015. The Nectar Track session will offer a small number of high-profile slots in which participants can display a poster that describes one of their best conference or journal publications within the last two years that they would like to discuss with the GCPR/VMV 2015 participants.
The poster registration must clearly indicate which corresponding original publication is presented. While these posters do not enter the conference proceedings, the goal of the Nectar Track Session is to provide a compact overview of important scientific advances that the GCPR/VMV community has published elsewhere.
Submission Instructions:
If you want to present a poster in the Nectar Track Session, then please send an email to ed.nehcaa-htwr.noisiv@ebiel with subject 'GCPR/VMV Nectar Track' and the following content:
- Title of contribution
- Authors and indicate the author who will present the paper in the R3-Session
- Journal/Conference
- Volume/Year/Page No.
The poster registration must clearly indicate which corresponding original publication is presented. The condition is that the original paper has been published or accepted for publication at one of the major conferences or journals relevant to the GCPR/VMV community (e.g., ECCV/ICCV/CVPR/NIPS/ICML/PAMI/IJCV, SIGGRAPH/Eurographcs/SIGGRAPH Asia/ToG) within the years 2013-2015 and that one of the authors registers for and commits to attending the conference in order to present the poster. The organisers reserve the right to refuse a contribution. Acceptance decisions will be made based on scientific quality, relevance to the community, and available space.

September 7, 2015 | Submission deadline |

September 10, 2015 | Nectar poster acceptance notification |
